After finishing the wedding season 2022, I went on a family vacation to Mexico, more specifically Isla Holbox.
This place is truly what dreams are made of! Every inch and craves is covert in stunning art or taken over by the beauty of nature. I find it so difficult to describe the energy that surrounds this island because it’s not only the people that radiate it but every single aspect I came in contact with. It flows everywhere and captivates you, without you even noticing.
During our vacation, I met Giulia and Christoph, a newlywed couple from Germany who happened to spend their honeymoon in the same hotel as my family and me. We got to know each other pretty well during our stay and formed a beautiful friendship.
Where ever these two went a cloud of love and affection followed, which was just beautiful to witness and an unresistible opportunity for me, a photographer who loves to capture love.
This ultimately lead us to meet up one evening for a relaxed couple photoshooting, beginning with a stroll through town.
We made our way to the beach where we witnessed one of the most beautiful pink sunsets! As the sun went down, Giulia and Christoph let go of any reservations that were holding them back. They solely focused on each other, driven by the energy of Isla Holbox and their love for each other.
Meeting these two in Mexico, when our homes back in Germany are so close together was true faith! I love to think that life is full of fun surprises destined to happen when you least expect them. This couple shooting was one of the best surprises that life had in check for me so far and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
